WordPress 6.3 Released “Lionel”
WordPress 6.3 “Lionel” has just been released on August 8, 2023. This is a big release that is integrating the WordPress experience to have complete full site self editing. It has brought together in the Site Editor for the first time, content, templates, and patterns.
You can now preview Block themes before committing to a new theme.
You can now create an sync patters, (formerly known as resusable blocks). These are areas that are meant to be universal and pulled into any area of the website.
Work can be faster with a the addition of what is being called the Command Pallette. A short cut kind of quick menu option saving you from a few extra clicks which can add up through out your workflow.
More features include that adding of Style revisions, a footnotes block and a details block.
And to top it off, the overall performance is improving!
